North Shore Marathon Results

Congratulations to the Boost Coaching team at the North Shore Marathon events today.

Marathon Results

Ryan Sharp's direction was to pace the marathon to some certain guidelines and in a comfortable fashion he clocked in a comfortable time of 3:09. Ryan now sets his sights on the 70km Kauri Classic in November!

Half Marathon

Arien Hieklma finished his run in 1:31, this is a huge improvement for Arien considering he finished the Auckland Marathon in 4:53 in 2011. Arien is a dedicated athlete that has seen amazing results in a short period of time and I look forward to seeing him continue to improve as he works towards Taupo Half Ironman 2012.

Will Sellar finished strongly over the final 5km completing the half marathon in 1:33 and give him some confidence as he focuses now on a PB at the Auckland Marathon. Anything is achievable for Will and now comes the key time as works toward his next event.
Heather Fitzgerald surprised herself with her first half marathon in a long time finishing in 2:14 and the smile on her face was enough to tell her story. Heather now focuses toward the Auckland Marathon and I can’t wait to see her smile when she crosses that line!

10km

Jason Davison made a great sprint down the beach to finish his 10km in style. Jason finished 6th in his division in a time of 56:40 which might not have been his PB but I know he didn’t leave anything on the race course!

5km

Tanya Sharp showed the field who was number 1 and came home in the fastest time of the day for the men and woman. Tanya now looks to show the world her triathlon skills as she leads toward the ITU Age Group World Champs in Auckland.

Stephen Crerar also knocked out a good result in the 5km event as part of their preparation for the ITU Age Group World Champs. Stephen won his age group and finished 3rd overall.
